Set above the shores of Portwrinkle, Silas Cove is a laid-back spot to eat, drink, and enjoy the Cornish coast. Named after the local smuggler Silas Finn, it’s a place to pause, take in the view across Whitsand Bay, and share good times with friends over fresh food and drinks.

From Silas Cove you can watch the waves roll into Whitsand Bay, the boats out on the water, and the sun sink below the horizon. It’s the kind of view that makes you want to linger a little longer, drink in hand, with the coast spread out in front of you.

Seafood straight from the coast, wood-fired pizzas, and small plates made for sharing. At Silas Cove, every dish comes with the warmth of the sun and the backdrop of the bay.

When to visit

We’re open through the week for long lunches in the sunshine, unhurried afternoons, and evenings that roll into sunset. Whether you want to catch the first view of the bay or see the last light fade, our standard opening times are* -

Tuesday: 12 - 10pm
Wednesday: 12 - 10pm
Thursday: 12 - 10pm

Saturday: 12 - 10pm
Sunday: 12 - 6pm

*Please be aware that Tuesday to Saturday our kitchen closes between 3-4pm with last orders taken an hour before closing.
Hours may vary during bank holidays.
